While talented artists from around the world have traveled to Barcelona to stand beside their work in Art Tunnel Barcelona, I'm here in my hometown Lidköping, standing beside my "Sunflower" from a distance, while honouring previous work commitments. And you know what? That's exactly how I believe art could work.
My Golden Bridge Philosophy in Action.
Though I couldn't join the other artists in Barcelona this time due to prior commitments, I'm thrilled to see "Sunflower" representing my Golden Bridge philosophy on Passeig de Gràcia. That's exactly how I believe art should work - it creates its own connections and transforms spaces independently of its creator's physical presence.
Perhaps at the next Art Tunnel, I'll experience that energy in person also from the other artists work.

When I discovered the painting dimension of my creativity during my decade as Swedish Parliamentary Advisor, I learned something profound: authentic transformation doesn't require the creator's constant presence. Just as my economic insights guided parliamentary decisions whether I was in the chamber or not, "Sunflower" carries its transformative power whether I'm in Lidköping, Stockholm or Barcelona.

The executives, tourists, and art lovers walking past Gaudí's masterpieces on Passeig de Gràcia don't need me there to experience the transformative energy of "Sunflower." that I already have brought to them by participating and rveiling this great art piece to them.

This also aligns with my desire to let my art speak more for itself and to be in focus - I want this creative journey that I am on with Marias Art to be about my art rather than about me.
